STEP 1
Quick online intake
Answer a few questions about your goals, health history and current medications. It takes about 5 minutes and costs $20, because finding out if you qualify shouldn’t be expensive.

You don’t have to face this alone. Licensed clinicians can prescribe medication that helps reduce cravings, online, private, and shipped to your door.
A licensed clinician will review your intake. Most online clinics charge $40–$150+ just to see if you qualify for a prescription.

Clinical safety
A licensed clinician reviews your health history before anything is prescribed, with a close look at withdrawal, opioid and liver safety.
Naltrexone doesn’t treat alcohol withdrawal, so we screen for withdrawal symptoms, and point anyone at risk of severe withdrawal to in-person care.
Naltrexone and opioids don’t mix, so we ask about pain medicine, methadone, buprenorphine and other opioids before anything is prescribed.
We ask about liver and kidney health, and can order liver tests and other blood work, drawn at home or at a lab near you.
We ask how you’re doing emotionally, and point anyone in crisis to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
$20 to find out if you qualify
It shouldn’t be expensive to see if you qualify. Online intakes commonly cost $40 to $150+.
Screening and policies change over time, and vary by state, your health information and your clinician’s judgment. How we keep care safe

Therapy, if you want it
Work one-on-one with a licensed therapist using CBT, motivational interviewing and relapse prevention — on its own or alongside medication. Available in select states.

FAQ
Start with a 5-minute, $20 online intake. A licensed clinician reviews your health history and goals, and prescribes medication only if it’s safe and appropriate for you. If it isn’t, they’ll walk you through other options, like therapy.
No. Naltrexone works whether your goal is to quit entirely or to drink less. Your clinician will help you choose the approach that fits your life and adjust the plan as you make progress.
Yes. Everything you share is protected under HIPAA and our strict confidentiality practices. Nothing is shared without your written consent. Visits happen over secure video from wherever you feel comfortable.
No. A licensed clinician recommends what fits: medication, therapy, or both. Every medication plan includes the Sunflower companion app and free peer support groups led by a licensed therapist, and one-on-one therapy is available in select states.
A licensed clinician reviews your intake before anything is prescribed. For naltrexone, we ask about things that can make it unsafe, like alcohol withdrawal, opioid use (including pain medicine), liver and kidney health, and pregnancy or breastfeeding. Naltrexone doesn’t treat withdrawal, so anyone at risk of severe withdrawal, like seizures or hallucinations, is pointed to in-person care. We also ask about your drinking, other medications, allergies and how you’re doing emotionally. What we ask changes over time, and can vary by state, your health information and your clinician’s judgment.
Yes. When your clinician needs blood work, like liver function tests or a comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP), we can order it for you, along with any other lab test your care calls for. You can have your blood drawn at home by a mobile phlebotomist, or at a lab service center near you.
Unlimited messaging with your care team, the Sunflower app to track your progress and flag side effects, and free peer support 5 days a week, led by a licensed therapist: peer support groups on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and a psychoeducation class every Wednesday. Meetings are on Zoom, anonymous, and camera off is always okay.
Medication starts with a $20 clinical assessment, where online intakes commonly cost $40 to $150+. If a clinician approves you, your medication is $89/month, billed and shipped quarterly ($267 every three months), with the Sunflower app included. There are no long-term contracts and you can cancel anytime.
